Urban Success' Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Crisis Response Teams receive calls 24 hours a day from across the country and even Canada on a regular basis to assist women in escaping their abusers and hide them in safe locations, providing personal protection, life coaching and advocacy as well as recovery/healing and empowerment programs. Our "Good Samaritan Volunteers" as we've been called, are advocates who also do quite a few court escorts, making sure our clients get in and out of court smoothly, without intimidation, threat or incident from the abuser or their family and friends while feeling safe to testify.

We desperately need teams in every major city in the U.S. Men and women of any age and background can form teams. We have a diverse group of people on our Cincinnati team - everyone from survivors of abuse, ex-Military Police Officers, gang members, former paramedics, business owners, real estate investors, church members, etc working together to save lives.

If you or someone you know is interested in forming a team and serving women and children in this capacity, we will train you in our systems to effectively respond to crisis intervention calls.

*Children make excellent peer support and comfort providers. Many times if children are involved, we will bring our own children in to play, hug and talk. We've had tremendous success with this. Young children respond better to other children than they do adults most of the time in crisis situations.
